WOW! It's been forever!!!!!

So since I am really not sure where to even start this, and my only slightly psychotic follower has been hounding me like crazy for update, this is going to be hella random....

Wedding plans are moving along! I am still ridiculously stressed out about the whole guest list thing, as well as the invitations...The wedding will be perfect! (we just may not have any guests!)

♥ I LOVE MY DRESS! It is beautiful...I am not posting pics though...I don't want him to accidently see!

I am totally jealous for all the ladies out there that had super smooth fun planning with your maid of honor... and I miss my sister!

I started reading a new author, I forget his name though...but it is a really rad german dude who draws cool illustrations too! lovin it!

My mother has been out visiting family in Nebraska, and lots of them are going to be coming in November...AWESOME!

For like 2 weeks I had a wicked tan....starting to fade now though....

I have been reconnecting with friends that I missed alot...thanks guys, you rock!

ummmm...Oh! I lost like 8 pounds (but none of it was from my ass! COME ON!)


Lastly, get this...I may be going on a surf trip this saturday! I am so excited that I may pee my pants!

There are probably a few other fun things, but really guys this is all I got for now. i promise that I will work on getting the oscar pics up....and yeah. I hope that every is having a decent wednesday...much love to everyone in this crazy life!

Just Another Tsunami.........
Ladies, I'm gonna go out on a limb here, but I'm guessing I'm not the only lucky bitch who experiences this phenom. I'm not speaking literally here kids, I'm using a metaphor, a metaphor that commonly (like 4 times per year) Pertains to my menstrual cycle. Here's how I see it.... do a typical month (your normal surf, tidal changes)is pretty easy. Maybe a little back pain, maybe some mood swings, pimples. etc ad nausea. That's typical. Every now and then however, something big hits the coast (TSUNAMI). We are not talking about a few mood swings or cramps now, oh no! Much more sinister. We are talking full blown schizo-bipolar curled in the fetal position, your breathing patterns are giving me a migraine and no I don't give a f*#% if you think you need oxygen, kind of all out mania. Yeah, now you know it. You've felt it too when you're thinking your uterus may actually be comprised of razor blades so your body is attempting some sort o informal surgery to remove it. You may even begin to pray for menopause. I mean screw it, there's always adoption, right?
So that's where I'm currently at. On the verge of requesting a hysterectomy and slamming my head against a wall. At this point most of the folks in my life have no idea they are risking theirs by merely standing in my presence. Gotta get it together Cass! Another round of midol, batten down the hatches and head for higher ground. We can troll for survivors later...

I just found some OLD photos at ZOMBIE COM! We had so much fun that I just had to post a few for you all. I highly recommend just going, and go in costume! We made ours like 5 mins before we left and still managed to get lots of compliments!

After a Week Away...or so....

Hello all! I needed some time away...so if you are addicted to my blog and wondering why I left you hanging I will 1st apologize, and the 2ndly say GET A LIFE!!!!! Just kidding...

♥ So... I really don't have much going on for all of the time that I have been away. Since my last update though I did attend one of the Hotel Indigo Pool Parties (my friend and I had a wonderful time) which I highly recommend going to if you have the opportunity.

♥We did have a nice weekend this time around as well. Things have settled down. There was movie watching and laziness and I loved every minute of it! The downer was that I had one of those weekends where no matter how many times you extend the opportunity you just can't connect with your buddies! I guess that's how it works when you are so caught up in chasing the ring.....

♥ The fish tank is up an running! Expect a full blog devoted to my newbies!

♥ Ok then, I am going to attach a few pics, and then let all you lovelies have a wonderful day!

When Friday Doesn't feel like friday

So.....
It's officially one of those days, those days when things just seem so darn off. Its FRIDAY? It really doesn't feel like it though....
I have had some time to think today, and here are a few things that I have figured out about myself.

♥ I really want to go visit that ghost orchid plant while it is in bloom. It sounds kinda silly, but I am honestly into it.
♥ I miss the original 2 seasons of the X-files. If they were still going I would so totally watch them.
♥ People will never cease to amaze my with their good qualities.
♥ People will never cease to amaze me with their bad qualities.

♥ I wish that I was much better at the whole girlie girl thing.
♥ I miss people from my life that are actually still in it, just in a different capacity.
♥ I am pretty sure that my first real crush was on Donatello, the ninja turtle.

♥ I am totally against putting anything in my mouth that has the same consistency as boogers.
♥ Freddy vs. Jason is a fabulous movie, worthy of somesort of award that probably doesn't exist.
♥ I am petrified of trying on wedding dresses.
♥ I am pretty sure there is some sort of conspiracy involved in the home shopping network.
♥ More people should go to the flea market, at least that way it won't be so taboo.
♥ I really want another few tattoos, but in an effort to not anger my family I think I can totally hold out until after the wedding.
♥I am staying away from alcaholic beverages for the rest of july and perhaps june as well.
♥ Some bottled water tastes like plastic, but some doesn't, what gives man?
♥ I miss surfing so much it kinda hurts, and makes me get fat.
♥ I think I will read every book by David Sedaris, the man is amazing.
♥ I am finally ready to admit that I have a problem, I am addicted to TWITTER and Facebook.
♥ I love my hair cut, but hate it on me.
♥ My fiance is amazing, but I have no idea how in the world he puts up with me.
♥ I am over people who act like they are still in highschool, and mooches and their douchbaggery.
♥ Sometimes its just to hard to please everyone.
♥ The Dr. Scholls Ped egg thing is both revolting and one of the dandiest inventions ever. It is gross that you can see all your dead and dirty skin pieces shaking around in your hand, but you feet feeling amazing is totally worth it!
♥ Last and not least I am going to make a much bigger push this weekend and next week to spread more smiles.

when you find yourself in a snafu...

Before any snafus are dealt with I think it is very important for the one person in the world who may or may not be following this to get caught up so here is the "Quick and DIrty List" of exactly how the weekend went down...

♥ Friday was relatively dull, EXCEPT I did get to see ICE AGE 3 IN 3D! That was cool, and my mom is pretty awesome so...
~Then Friday evening we had a really good time at a small local Tavern. I was DD and all went well :)
♥ Saturday was a good time as well. I had a good workout (all though I would really like for my body to start showing all this working out!)
~ We went out on the dad's boat with him and mama and another couple. That was nice...Sunset was gorgeous! We were able to see fireworks from 5 different places!










~Then we stopped off at a house party for a bit and had some yummy food....ahhhhhh another 4th come and gone....
♥ Sunday was crazy! We got our engagement photo shoot out of the way. Deb and her hubby Matt were wonderful! We had a blast (even though we were getting eaten alive and melting!). They do such a great job. I highly reccomend them to anyone who needs photos for anything! I will post some as soon as they arrive!
so there is that update......

Now for the snafu...

So tonight I am hosting Bunco. The theme is murder mystery and as of about 2 hours ago I was so excited! Now I am a little bit nervous though....you see, one of the girls will end up being the culpret...and I am just hoping they will think that it is funny and silly, but now that I went through all the trouble of making the clues, and staging the fake crime I am actually kinda nervous that they will either hate the extra work of trying to crack the case, or that they will be angry about being the ONE...
Crap. No time to change to a plan B now! Not that I even have one....

Anyways...
I am gonna let go for now...things always have a funny way of working out for the better. Plus if this is my biggest problem (which I know its not, but of the problems I am willing to give brain space to entertain it is currently the highest ranking) then really it ain't that bad...

yeah.....I threw that in there because that is how I am currently feeling about my not so bride-a-riffic bod. hurumph. Nothing is really going on today. I did have some moments of actual entertainment today, one of which included receiving a shipment of office supplies and the putting them all away...yay me.

So really I am just looking for something smiley to put on this post. I want to smile. You should want to smile to.... let me see if I can find anything good that may be a bit more inspirational to write about as opposed to my cellulite....


so a bored monkey is a little bit better, but far too close to the way I am currently feeling. Friends, I know we can do better....
